UNSW is having it's second Fair Trade Market event!
All FTAANZ members are invited to come and promote their businesses and products, as well as be part of a spectacular day of spreading Fair Trade awareness to a very large audience. If interested please make contact ASAP.
(If your business is unable to attend please still contact us to discuss possible consignment arrangements so our volunteers can help showcase and sell your products)
The university has committed the Fair Trade Market to their annual programme of events and will be devoting a large part of its marketing resources to promote this. Fair Trade will be the main feature item in the campus events publication, Blitz, as well as UNSW TV and other media arms of the university. The marketing department will also be putting up posters and chalking notices all around the campus in the week leading up to the market.
The location and timing is also ideal, being right in the heart of the campus walkway and in the middle of the week at the start of semester.
Details:
Cost is free for anyone able to bring their own tent or stall setup. We can also provide tables for free.
The fee for a stall (3m x 3m) is $100. You can share a stall.
Payment can be made on the day of the market or the day following. Receipts can be given.
Bump-in is anytime after 8am, and bump-out is between 4-5pm.
